English for medics
The register of all nursing and midwifery professionals who can practice in the UK has reached a record 841,367. For the first time there are more than 200,000 internationally educated professionals on the register – 23.8 percent of the total available UK nursing and midwifery workforce. Of these registered professionals, 67,576 were educated in India (+8.3 percent since April) and 50,180 were educated in the Philippines (+2.2 percent). Mental health awareness

Across the country various facilities are tasked with keeping residents safe. Its deeply saddening that a huge number of deaths occur in these facilities due to suicide. LLL 360 is offering training to understand and manage this risk. The course will also show learners how to use bespoke ligature cutters. The trainers delivering these programs have worked in acute mental health settings. As well as personally responding to patients that have tied ligatures or found patients suspended. LLL 360 is passionate about patient safety; and believes everybody should be safe when being cared for in these various facilities. The team is also currently working on research examining inpatient deaths across mental health facilities in England and Wales.
